First Of 2 Supermoons In August Lights Up Tuesday Night

The first of two supermoons in August is Tuesday night. 

The first, known as a "sturgeon moon,” will appear 16 percent brighter than an average moon.  

The second takes place on Aug. 30 and will be a rare "blue moon" that only takes place about once every three years.
