The National Weather Service out of Lubbock, Texas, says the preliminary data shows the tornado that devastated the small town of Matador is an E-F3.

The National Weather Service out of Lubbock, Texas, says the preliminary data shows the tornado that devastated the small town of Matador is an E-F3.

The reports states the peak winds reached 165 miles per hour. There were four fatalities and at least 15 others were injured.
