Gov. Stitt Signs Statewide School District Risk Assessment Bill Into Law

Governor Stitt signed a new bill into law that requires school districts to undergo risk assessments by 2026.

Those assessments include recommendations to increase security on school grounds. Districts can apply for grant money to make the recommended enhancements.

Assessments will also be required by law every 5 years.
