Warm Temps For Tuesday, Slight Chance of Showers Later

Your Tuesday is looking good! Starting off quiet, but a little muggy. We will have a very slight chance for afternoon showers and storms.

Most of the day looks sunny! The heat index comes back today. After the recent rain the dewpoints will be high enough for the temp to feel a few degrees hotter when factoring in the humidity.

Heat index will reach 87 in Oklahoma City. Storms are likely in the panhandle this evening and those will try to make it into northwestern Oklahoma tonight and tomorrow morning.

Right now, it looks like those storms will weaken as they move into the main body of the state. Lows Tuesday will fall into the 60s.
