Grand Lake Incidents: 1 Dead In ATV Crash, 87-Year-Old Drowns, 5 Injured In Explosion

Authorities have responded to several water-related incidents over Memorial Day weekend, including a deadly crash and drowning.

At Grand Lake, the River Dam Authority said a man died after crashing his ATV on Friday.

In a separate incident, they said an 87-year-old drowned after falling off a boat.

Five people are recovering, including a child, after an explosion that happened on Saturday at Grand Lake. The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating after troopers said a man purposely rammed his boat into another boat on Lake Eufaula.
