Cameras Set Up Around Edmond To Combat Vehicle Theft

The Edmond Police Department is putting up cameras in hopes of cracking down on people stealing cars.

The camera system captures license plates and vehicle descriptions, which will then immediately alert police.

Ten cameras will be hooked up around Edmond over the next six to eight weeks. 

Those cameras will be used for at least two months.
