Lowes, American Red Cross Partner For Storm Relief Event In Shawnee

A Shawnee business spent the day serving up hot meals and giving back to the community still reeling from April's tornado.

Lowes and American Red Cross partnered to host the storm relief effort.

Together, they handed out 1,000 hot meals and buckets of cleaning supplies to those impacted by the tornado.

Last month's EF-2 forced the store to close for several days after portions of its roof were torn away.
