Tulsa Mayfest Ends Early Saturday Due To Lightning

Tulsa Mayfest has closed for the night on Saturday due to severe weather.

A tweet from the Tulsa Mayfest Twitter account said there will be no performance from Meshell Ndegeocello and any guests in attendance should seek shelter.

Mayfest will begin its third and final day on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Mayfest in Downtown Tulsa is paused as of 6 p.m. Saturday due to weather.

Tulsa Mayfest said activities have been suspended due to lightning in the area.

Attendees have been asked to seek shelter.
