Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt Named Next Dean Of OCU School Of Law

Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt has been named the next dean of the Oklahoma City University School of Law.

OCU President Kenneth Evans made the announcement Wednesday that Holt, who graduated from the School of Law in 2009, will begin his term on July 1.

“I appreciate David’s leadership experience, broad network within the law and government communities, and strong connection to the OCU School of Law,” Evans said. “Our university community welcomes him back to campus and looks forward to his impact on our law school."

The announcement comes after Jim Roth said he would be leaving the position after the expiration of his contract on June 30.
