Absolutely beautiful today! Look for mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 70s. Winds will be pretty light today as well.
This evening a few t-storms possible in the panhandle with showers trying to make it into far southwestern Oklahoma.
Overnight rain and a few storms move in from the west. We will be tracking rain and storms tomorrow morning moving into Oklahoma City.
These storms may have some lightning, winds to 40 mph, and very small hail, but not severe.
Tomorrow afternoon isolated storms possible with several dry hours.
Thursday will be a hotter day! High temps in the 80s and even 90s. More instability and strong jet stream winds overhead.
This will give us an opportunity for severe storms to develop. Right now it is a low risk with large hail and damaging winds possible. There is a low tornado risk.
Saturday the ingredients for severe storms are more elevated. It is a day to be weather aware as well. We will keep you updated as the weekend gets closer. Next week yet another opportunity for storms.
