1 Dead After Ponca City Collision

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports one person has died following a collision Thursday morning near Ranch Drive and Highland Avenue.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.

Nate Collins, 18, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead due to head and trunk injuries. Reports say that Collins was pinned in his vehicle for an unknown amount of time.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
