Edmond City Council Considers New Ambulance Service

The City of Edmond could soon be parting ways with its ambulance provider EMSA.

Edmond city council members recently approved a request to solicit new bidders for a new medical transport service provider.

City leaders said they've been battling long response times for life-threatening situations since the start of the pandemic.

Edmond's contract with EMSA is up for renewal in June.
