State Board Of Education Holding Meeting Regarding Federal Title IX Proposal

State Superintendent Ryan Walters is holding a special state board of education meeting Wednesday regarding a proposed update to Title IX rules.

A federal proposal would prevent schools and colleges from issuing a blanket ban on transgender athletes.

Walters said he will sue if these rules go into effect.

Walters is also asking all school districts to submit an outline of their current sports programs.
