A beautiful spring day is underway! Look for highs in the 70s and 80s today.
Skies will be sunny with a south breeze. Gusts in the metro will range 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 40 mph in the west.
Due to low humidity and gusty winds, the fire danger is a big concern over the next several days.
As our next upper-level storm moves in, severe storms will be possible ahead of the dryline.
Tomorrow that storm threat will be in the panhandle. Friday the storm threat will be across central and eastern Oklahoma.
Right now the cap looks to be quite strong across the state and this will try to limit the coverage of storms.
However, if isolated storms do develop they will be severe with all modes of severe weather possible.
