Sassy Mama: Bunny In A Basket

News 9's Sassy Mama has a fun Bunny in a Basket recipe, perfect for Easter weekend.

Ingredients:

1. 1 slice of bread
2. Bunny cookie cutter or other fun shape
3. Salt & pepper
4. 1 teaspoon butter

Instructions:

1. Lay a slice of bread on a cutting board.
2. Press the cookie cutter into the middle of the bread. Remove and set aside the cut out to toast later.
3. Then in a skillet melt the butter and place the bread outline and add a whole egg in the center and move the pan to help it fill in if needed.
4. Sprinkle with salt & pepper.
5. Flip the toast over once the edges by the egg begin to bubble.
6. Continue to cook until egg is done how you prefer.
7. Enjoy!

Krispie Nests

1. 4 cups Cocoa Krispies
2. 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
3. 1 package milk chocolate chips
4. Assorted candy eggs

Instructions:

1. In a medium sized saucepan over medium low heat melt the peanut butter and chocolate chips till it is smooth.
2. Stir in the krispies until they are completely coated.
3. Spoon large rounds of krispies onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
4. Use the back of a spoon to create an indention in the middle of each round and decorate with Easter candies.
5. Chill in the fridge 10 minutes so nests can harden.
6. Enjoy!
