Jailers Sentenced After Using 'Baby Shark' To Punish Inmates

Two former jailers for the Oklahoma County Detention Center pleaded no contest to a cruelty charge after they were accused of forcing inmates to listen to the song 'Baby Shark' as punishment in 2019.

Court documents say the inmates were handcuffed and forced to stand for hours while listening to the song on repeat.

Gregory Butler and Christian Miles were placed on two years probation, fined $200, and barred from working in law enforcement.
