Man Accused Of Shooting Truck At Gas Station, Pauls Valley Police Say

A suspect is in custody after a shooting at a gas station on Monday, Pauls Valley Police said.

Donte Lamont Pierce, 26, is accused of firing multiple gunshots at a truck near EZ Mart at 800 E. Grant Ave., police said.

Officers said they responded to a call of gunshots and two vehicles chasing each other on Monday night.

Officers said when they arrived at EZ Mart to investigate, they learned that a pickup appeared to have been chasing an SUV through the EZ Mart parking lot.

Both vehicles came to a stop on the west side of the building and the driver of the SUV exited the vehicle and began shooting at the pickup, police said.

Officers said they located multiple spent shell casings and other evidence at the scene. No one was identified as being injured during the shooting, police said.

Police said they identified Pierce as the shooter and took him into custody on Tuesday afternoon.

Pierce faces charges of Assault and Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and an outstanding Felony Warrant for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle out of Tillman County, OK.
