Okarche Teacher Funeral Planned For Tuesday

Loved ones of Okarche teacher Lyndal Westmoreland will gather to say their final goodbyes, after the 64-year-old died on March 20.

While teaching, Westmoreland participated in extracurriculars at Okarche Public Schools. In his 30 years with the district, Westmoreland helped bring home seven state championships, two for speech and debate and the other five in theatre.

Funeral services for Westmoreland begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Okarche High School gymnasium.
