West OKC Metro Donut Shop Draws Huge Crowds

A local donut shop has opened its doors.

The owners said the store expected to have a slow start for the first few months but after three weeks of being open, a post in a Yukon Facebook group launched the donut shop to success.

Glazed and Confused has customers lining up past the front door and onto the sidewalk to get a taste of the delicious treats.

"It happens every Saturday and Sunday morning to the point where they will wipe out what we have cooked and iced already and people will sit in my lobby and wait 30-35 minutes for a dozen donuts," said Co-owner Ahmad Ashour. 

The donut shop has hired more staff and installed a new larger fryer in preparation for a busy weekend ahead.
