After a recent uptick in flu, COVID-19 and RSV cases, many are wondering whether they should go to an urgent care or the emergency room.

Doctors at Regions Hospital said emergency room visits depend on intensity.

Things like uncontrollable bleeding, major cuts, burns and chest pains are good indicators to go to the emergency room, doctors said.

Meanwhile, you can go to an urgent care for things like sprains, back or muscle pain and cold symptoms.
