TFD Installs Free Smoke Detectors In Neighborhood Where Deadly Fire Broke Out

Firefighters with the Tulsa Fire Department will be going door to door installing smoke detectors in a Tulsa neighborhood on Tuesday.

The crews will be offering the smoke detectors to anyone who may need one.

TFD is installing the detectors after a deadly fire broke out at a home in the neighborhood in the early-morning hours on Monday. The blaze is still under investigation.

Crews will be meeting at the Mission Church near Admiral and Memorial around 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
