A Pawnee County Family is at a loss for words after someone broke into their storage unit and cleaned it out. The family had recently moved to Green Country after their brother-in-law was murdered, in order to be closer to his family.

They had put most of their belongings into storage until they got settled and now, those belongings are gone.

The Hawley's said they're still trying to pick themselves up from the last tragedy in April and now feel violated all over again.

"I want it back a lot," said Sutton Hawley, nine-year-old.

Michelle Hawley and her family recently moved to Cleveland after her brother-in-law, Kyle McClary, was stabbed to death in April. Her family has been living out of a camper on her sister's land.

"We're here to help," said Sutton.

"With my sister and girls and to be there for our family," said Michelle Hawley.

Someone cut a hole in the back of their storage unit and surrounding units.

"They had full face masks on. Gloves," said Michelle.

The burglars were caught on camera around 8:45 Monday night scoping out the area and returning around midnight.

"Opened the gate up and backed a 30-foot trailer down and took my whole entire life in about 2 hours," said Michelle.

"I mean I was crying all night," said Sutton.

Pretty much everything from their house was in storage and the criminals took it all, from appliances to vehicles, equipment, and tools.

"My grandma's antique silver," said Michelle. "They took my dad's 75 shovel head. It's one of a kind."

"All these car collections that my grandpa owned that he gave to me," said Sutton.

Michelle said the owner of this truck said he wasn't involved, that his truck had been stolen before the burglary.

"You've got to be lucky all the time though to be a criminal. Cops only have to be lucky once," said Harry Hawley.

They've been in contact with the Pawnee County Sheriff's Office.

"God can overpower everything and the devil is smaller than people think," said Sutton.

The Hawley's said they just want their stuff back. They've offered a $1,000 reward and the owner the storage units has since matched that.
