A Sand Springs woman is selling t-shirts to raise money for the families of the victims of the Sand Springs crash.

Michelle Wallace says when she heard about the crash in Sand Springs that killed three Charles Page High School students and hurt two, she knew she had to do something to help.

"I didn't even think about it honestly when I heard what had happened, I just wanted to help and just hopped on Facebook without even thinking and typed the post, and agreed to help," she said.

She came up with a t-shirt design, and put the shirts up for sale for 20 dollars a piece, with all the money raised going to the families. The design is a heart, with the five victims' names listed inside, and the words Sandite Strong along the edge.

"I figured since that was something I knew I could do and that I was good at, why not use my talent to help the families," she said.

She says Sand Springs is a tight-knit community that's always there for each other, and if she was in this position, she would want people to help.

"It's truly sad, and I really feel, my heart goes out to these families, and I hope the community can come together and rally around them," she said.

Michelle says she's devastated for the community, but mainly for the families, and she hopes this fundraiser can help them in some way.

"My heart, it's just, as a mother, my heart is broken for the families," she said.

She says she plans to sell the shirts for the next week, a week and a half. Michelle is taking orders on CashApp at $BossMom104 or you can find her on Facebook.
