It's been almost a week since a metro business closed its doors after a break-in.

Corey Harris said he was shocked to see shattered glass covering the patio and ground of the Off the Hook Seafood restaurant.

He checked his security cameras and to his surprise he found a burglar crawling around his business.

“It sucks. It definitely sucks to be targeted, especially in this way. I understand that times are hard, but to do something like this is crazy,” Harris said.

On his hands and knees, the man dressed in all black with a camouflage print mask makes his way through the kitchen prying open cash registers. He left behind the change, but eventually found a safe.

“He obtained a safe full of cash and valuables and had pushed the safe outside of the business,” Sgt. Dillon Quirk said.

After a couple days off, Harris said they're back to business as usual.

“We had a line of people who have been waiting. They were excited that we were back open. It’s good to know that regardless people are going to check us out,” Harris said.

Harris wants his customers to know he's grateful for them. He also has a message for the man who broke in.

“You can’t stop us regardless of what you do. It’s a minor setback for a major comeback,” Harris said.

Police said if you have any information or recognize the man in the video to give them a call.
