As Home Prices Rise, Sales Drop

Home sales last month dropped but the average price paid continued to soar.

The National Association of Realtors said $416,000 dollars was the median price paid last month for an existing home, the highest on record.

Experts say an increase in the number of houses for sale is being offset by rising inflation and higher mortgage costs.
