The Oklahoma Corporation Commission said a liquid cleanup has begun at a manufacturer in Caddo County.
The drilling-fluid spill happened at the Stellar Drilling Fluids location near U.S. 277.
The company said a person illegally entered company property, cut the chain fences and turned on the drilling fluid valves.
Officials said nearly 6,000 barrels of liquid have been spilled at this point. Cleanup could take several days to complete.
This is a developing story.
