Emergency Crews Respond To House Fire In NW Oklahoma City

Firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire that broke out on the Northwest side of the city on Tuesday morning.

Crews responded to the scene near northwest 36th and Penn avenue.

Fire officials say the blaze was contained to the front porch of the home.

According to officials, one person was inside the home at the time it broke out and was able to make it out safely.

The fire is estimated to have caused around $40,000 worth of damage.
