Amazing Oklahomans: Sara Cunningham

On the final day of Pride Month we're celebrating one Amazing Oklahoman bringing lots of love to OKC.

Sara Cunningham founded Free Mom Hugs with the goal of making sure every member of the LGBTQ+ community feels loved.

It began when her own son came out to her and she took the time to reconcile her religious beliefs with her love for her child.

Now she attends Pride parades all over the US.

Free Mom Hugs has chapters in all 50 states.

Sara hopes one day it will spread worldwide.
