The climber, 23-year-old Maison Des Champs, was trying to raise money for a non-profit that supports women so they have another option besides abortion.

"What Let Them Live is going to do is try and pay for her housing and her healthcare, so she doesn't have to get an abortion,” Des Champs stated.

Des Champs is from Michigan and has done something like this several times before.

Just a month ago, he was arrested for climbing San Francisco’s 1,000 feet tall “Salesforce Tower.”

He was also arrested on top of the 721 feet tall "New York Times" building in Manhattan, hanging two banners along the way.

The Devon Tower stands at 844-feet tall with 52 total floors.

News 9 spoke with him after he was released from jail Tuesday.

“I go on Google Maps and I scout it out before, then I look to see if I can stick my hands around and look where the light passes through the holes,” said Des Champs.

Des Champs said there is no law in Oklahoma against climbing buildings, but he was arrested on trespassing complaints and released Tuesday afternoon after being bonded out of jail.

No word on when he'll go before a judge in connection with the complaints.

Des Champs has raised more than $11,000 in his GoFundMe.
