Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation's book bus hits the road!

The foundation is teaming up with the Metropolitan Library to encourage students to read over summer break.

Wednesday's launch event will be at the Almonte Library starting at 1 p.m.

Children will get a book of their choice, a coloring page and a bookmark.

There are Read OKC events planned all summer long.
