Police: 2 Men Killed Trying Cross Road In Edmond

Edmond Police said two men are dead after trying to cross the street in Edmond on Saturday night.

Authorities said one man was pushing another man in a wheelchair across W. 33rd St. near S. Blvd at about 10 p.m.

That's when police said a woman driving westbound hit the men.

Officers said the men did not cross the street at a crosswalk and it was in a dark area.

The man in the wheelchair was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man died on Sunday.

Edmond Police said the driver stayed at the scene and was cooperative with officers.
