Oklahoma City police release new details on a deadly shooting at a hotel Thursday morning.

It happened just after 9 a.m., officers were called to a hotel near NW Expressway and May Avenue.

"When officers arrived, they found two shooting victims here," said Msgt. Gary Knight, with Oklahoma City police. "One has been pronounced deceased, the other is still alive but in very critical condition."

Boyed Steen was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect in the shooting, Lee Boland was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital.

"Certainly, exploring the possibility that this is an attempted murder-suicide," said Knight. "At this point, at least that's where the evidence is pointing towards at this point, but we're still very early in the investigation."

Police said they will continue to talk with witnesses to find out the motive behind this and we're told the hotel is under construction.

"I don't know if they have people in there sleeping right now or not," said Knight. "It's under construction obviously."

If you have any other information on this investigation or know what may have happened, you're asked to call the homicide Tip Line at 405-297-1200.
