Several Memorial Day events will start taking place Saturday across the Oklahoma City metro.
The 31st annual Chuck Wagon Festival at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum runs all weekend long. The event is set to feature Native American food samples plus a dugout canoe demonstration.
At Scissortail Park there will be a free showcase of Native American Dance contests starting Saturday at 1 p.m.
The city of Bethany will be hosting its 66 Festival, the parade is set to start Saturday at 9 a.m.
