An overnight pursuit ended with two people in custody after an attempted traffic stop in northwest Oklahoma City.
Police say one suspect was pulled over for a routine traffic stop and was cooperating, but when police ran his information, they found what they described as a lengthy record and called for backup.
As the officer approached the vehicle again, the driver took off and the pursuit began.
Police say the driver was shooting out his window, but no one was hit.
During the pursuit, the suspect’s tires blew out, and he called someone to come get him.
He was able to get into a car with a female driver, continuing the pursuit.
Eventually the police were able to spike the tires of the suspect vehicle and the chase ended at 1st & Klein.
Both suspects in the pursuit were arrested.
