Showers and storms are continuing to fall Monday afternoon across the Oklahoma City metro.
According to News 9 Meteorologist Cassie Heiter, the storms are moving at a slow rate of speed.
We're anticipating pockets of very heavy rain, intense lightning and some pea to dime-size hail.
We also expect to see a few scattered storms Monday evening across the state with a line of heavy storms developing out west.
This line of storms may have some severe wind and hail in the far west and southwest.
The threats Monday evening will be quarter-size hail and winds up to 60 miles per hour.
Overnight waves of rain and storms are expected into Tuesday.
We will see another round of heavy rain and storms Tuesday, with a few strong to severe storms possible to the south.
The rain will likely end by early Wednesday morning.
Much of Oklahoma will see one to three inches of rain before all is said and done.
