According to a recent News 9 and News On 6 poll, Republicans seem to still be largely undecided when it comes to certain races, with just about six weeks until primary elections in Oklahoma.

Just over 300 likely Republican Primary voters were surveyed.

When it comes to candidates vying for state treasurer, state superintendent, corporation commissioner and state auditor, roughly 60-75% of those voters don’t yet know who they’ll vote for.

Pollster Bill Shapard says poll results show the race with the largest number of undecided voters is the race for state superintendent.

While John Cox is polling the highest, a whopping 77% of voters haven't made a decision.

In the state treasurer's race, Todd Russ is leading the pack, but just barely with 9.4%. Again, in this race, undecided votes sit at 76%.

Shapard says, there is a lot of competition for voters' consideration.

“Only because a lot of people don't really pay a lot of attention to state auditor or state superintendent or the state treasurer's race. Only because we have two U.S. Senate races, governor and an attorney general, so a lot of the focus is going to be there rather than the down-ballot races,” Shapard stated.

Primary elections are set for June 28th.
