OSSAA Transfer Bill Dies In Oklahoma House

A bill that would have allowed students who transfer high schools during the summer to play sports the following year did not pass in the Oklahoma House.

Shawnee Republican Ty Burns sponsored the bill.

Burns believes the current OSSAA rules that require students to sit out a year are harmful.
