Friday's Amazing Oklahoman is Wagoner County Deputy Chris Elliott.
He was honored this week for helping save the victim of an accidental shooting.
The Sheriff's Office says Deputy Elliott made a tourniquet out of a shirt and tied it on the man's leg.
He then wrapped the wound before handing things off to E-M-S.
