The Oklahoma Supreme Court could decide soon if a vote to legalize recreational marijuana could appear on the ballot.

Two initiative petitions have been filed and would allow anyone 21 and older to grow, buy, transport, and consume marijuana.

They are state question 8-19 and 8-20.

Question 8-19 would amend the state constitution to allow recreational marijuana.

Question 8-20 would also allow some convicted drug offenders to ask to have their convictions reversed and records expunged.

Both questions offer different ways of dividing the tax revenue from marijuana sales.
