Officers Involved In Shooting In Norman

NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Norman police responded to a shooting around 6 p.m. Thursday evening. It happened in the 300 block of E Comanche Street.

According to police, when officers arrived a suspect fired at officers.

Officers returned fire, hitting the suspect. The suspect is currently being treated at a local hospital.

One person was found dead at the location.

A second person was found with a gunshot wound. They are being treated at a local hospital.

It is unclear if the suspect shot both victims at this time.

No officers were injured.
