Police Officer Involved In Crash On Lake Hefner Parkway

Emergency crews responded to a crash on Lake Hefner Parkway near Memorial on Monday morning, police reported.

Police on the scene reported that a motorcycle police officer was hit by a vehicle.

The officer was hit in the northbound lanes of Lake Hefner Parkway just south of Memorial, police said.

According to crews on the scene, the officer is being transported to the hospital.

Police say the officer is recovering and is expected to be okay.
