Traffic Stop Turns Into Short Chase, Crash On I-40

A traffic stop just after 1:30 a.m. turned into a chase that ended in a ditch Wednesday morning. 

Two people have been arrested. 

It happened near the Oklahoma City outlet malls on I-49 and Council.  Officers tried to stop the car for speeding. The driver took off and immediately ended up in a ditch. 

The two people ran from the crashed car but were caught by police. 

No one was hurt in the incident.
