First Freeze Of The Season Hits Most Of Oklahoma Friday Night

Rain for some this morning, and then a widespread freeze tonight!

A few showers early this morning with best chance in northern and eastern OK.

By mid-morning, the rain will be over and skies will begin to clear out.

What you will notice today is a ripping northwest wind! Winds will gust 40 to 50 mph this afternoon. Look for sunny skies today with highs below normal. The wind will make it feel colder.

Tonight winds will relax and lows will fall into the 20s and 30s. For most of the state the first freeze of the season is on the way.
