Trooper Quenton Payne is Nov. 8's Amazing Oklahoman.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said he earned the 2020 Chief's Award for saving a suicidal man in June.

The OHP said he talked the man out of jumping off a bridge in Tulsa and helped him seek mental health treatment.
