A light wind kept our morning temperatures in the 40s, but we're in for a warm day across Green Country.

Air quality around the Tulsa metro for Sunday (air quality index: 53) has us slightly in the moderate range (between 50 and 100), which states that there is enough fine particular matter in the atmosphere due to an inversion.

While we may be cold at the surface, the inversion means that there is a layer of warm air above the surface that keeps things trapped here below.

High temperatures for your Sunday range from the mid-70s west of Tulsa and mid-60s to lower 70s for the Tulsa metro and much of northeast Oklahoma.

Even though a front could make its way towards Green Country by Tuesday, high temperatures are expected to remain in the 70s for the first two days of the work week.
