Strong winds are causing power outages Thursday in Oklahoma.

According to OG&E System Watch, more than 9,900 customers are without power as of 3:30 p.m.

Most of the outages were reported in central Oklahoma with more than 3,100 customers in Mustang and more than 2,300 customers in Oklahoma City without power.

News 9 Chief Meteorologist David Payne said wind gusts of more than 55 mph have been reported at Will Rogers World Airport.
