Veteran Salute: Gunnery Sgt. Bruce Best

We are honoring the men and women who served our country, leading up to Veterans Day.

On Oct. 25, we want to salute U.S. Marine Gunnery Sergeant Bruce Best.

Bruce has been with the Marines since March 1999 and was a mortarman in both the War in Iraq and the War in Afghanistan.

Now, he's the Navy and Marine ROTC instructor at the University of Oklahoma.

His nominators said when he's off duty, he enjoys car racing, riding horses and volunteers at the local bulldog rescue.
