Halloween Pudding Cookies

  1. 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, room temperature
  2. ¾ cup brown sugar
  3. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  4. 1 egg
  5. 1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  6. ½ teaspoon baking soda
  7. ¼ teaspoon salt
  8. 1 small package vanilla instant pudding
  9. 1 cup Halloween M&M’s

 

  1. In a large mixing bowl using a stand or hand mixer, beat together the brown sugar and butter until creamy.
  2. Continue mixing while you add an egg and the vanilla.
  3. Place all the dry ingredients in a bowl and fluff together using a fork and then slowly add the dry ingredients into the butter mixture.
  4. Once the dough is formed stir in the sprinkles and 1/2 cup of the M&M candies.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  7. Use a cookie scoop to dip out the cookies and gently press down with your hand so they are about 1 inch thick.
  8. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.
  9. Remove from oven and place additional M&Ms on top and any other candy decorations.
  10. Allow the cookies to cool and store an airtight container until you’re ready to serve.
