Victim Rescued From House Fire In NE OKC

Fire crews rescued a person from a burning home Thursday in northeast Oklahoma City.

When firefighters arrived, they reported heavy fire coming from the garage of the home located in the 400 block of NW 29th St.

A News 9 crew at the scene said the victim was being checked out in an ambulance at the scene.

Officials said about 50% of the house is damaged.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
