CDC Reports Nearly 100 Oklahomans Sick From Salmonella Outbreak Tied To Onions

The CDC said a Salmonella outbreak that has gotten 98 Oklahomans sick is linked to onions imported from Mexico.

The CDC said a Salmonella outbreak that has gotten 98 Oklahomans sick is linked to onions imported from Mexico.

The onions in question are from a company called ProSource. The CDC recommends throwing away all unlabeled onions in your home, just to be safe.

Out of the 652 people in the United States sick from the outbreak, CDC data shows Oklahoma and Texas are the states hardest hit.
